Good Afternoon Fell Charter School Community! 

It is hard to believe we have begun the second week of September!   We are off to a great start and have many exciting programs and opportunities on the horizon!  Please view the attached documents !  

The first page is an invitation for students to attend Geisinger’s Pathways program.  This is a wonderful opportunity for any student interested in a career in healthcare, medicine, nursing, or science!  We hope you and your family can attend!

The second page is to make all families aware of the WALK-IN Health Clinic located right here in Carbondale!

The third page is an invitation for students in grades 2-8  to attend the Lyceum, a school for the visual and performing arts.  We hope you take advantage of these wonderful opportunities!

I would like to thank  all families for their adherence to the dismissal guidelines and ask for your continued support in this process.  I am also attaching the dress code policy for all families to continue to review. A reminder that, per school board policy, tight-fitting clothing, including leggings, spandex, yoga pants, and tights, are not permitted for students. Only students in K, 1, and 2 are permitted to wear these items.  

Also, students have not yet started Physical Education classes.  The school is in the final stages of hiring a PE teacher and we expect gym class to begin on Monday 9/16.  Thank you for your patience!  

A reminder that next Wednesday, September 18, is Back to School Night from 6-7 PM.  This will be a fantastic opportunity for families to meet the teachers and learn more about the school year and our expectations for student success.
