This past weekend we had 4 students participate in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science at Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre.

We have 4 winners!  I am beyond proud of our boys who made their mark in the fields of Science.

Left to right in the picture:

Tyler D took first place for hydro-electric power, Nathan D took first place for physics, using a soccer ball, Adriano M took 2nd place for creating biodegradable water bottles (environment) and Evan R took 3rd place for the life cycle of crabs (Life Science).

Tyler D and Nathan D are now invited to Penn State University in May to compete at the state level!

A huge thanks to Mrs. Gaylets for being a great science teacher who stoked the fires of learning for these four young men!!
