Dear Fell Families,

Happy Tuesday, Warriors! We have a few important reminders and upcoming events to share with our families this week.

School Security at Fell

A separate email will be coming shortly that includes information about the measures that Fell Charter takes to keep our campus safe. We will be adding a school security officer soon and we’d like your input to help us determine the best option for our school.  Please be on the lookout for that email that will contain a School Security Survey and take a moment to share your perspective with us. The survey will remain open for one week after it’s delivered to you. 

 Thank you to all who participated, promoted, and volunteered with our many fundraising opportunities last week! 
The Scholastic Book Fair was a success! If you missed it, you can still shop online through 9/27 – click here.

Blueberry Hill Mumraiser vouchers are being sent home with your children today. Please check their backpacks if you ordered mums. Vouchers should be redeemed by 9/30.

This was a lightning quick fundraiser and we’re amazed at the response we received.
School Swag was flying off the racks at Back to School Night. Every dollar raised supports our students’ activities and field trips. Keep an eye out for new Fell Charter swag coming next month!

October Lunch Orders

It’s time to place your child’s October meal orders in EZSchool!

If your child will be participating in school lunch, please be sure to log into EZSchool and place your orders for October.

If your child will be bringing a packed lunch from home, you do not need to place a lunch order for that day. 

If you need help with EZSchool or have questions about ordering meals, please reach out to Mrs. Timlin at ctimlin@fellcharter.com.

A Quick Reminder for Our K–1 Families

If you are sending a snack from home for your child, please make sure the snack is clearly labeled with your child’s name.

For our younger students, this helps Mrs. Norton make sure snacks stay with students and don’t accidentally get mixed in with their lunches. Thank you for helping us keep our littlest Warriors organized!

Garden Club

We are excited to announce the return of Garden Club at Fell!

An announcement and information about Garden Club went home with students in grades 2–6 yesterday. If your child is interested in participating, please review the information that was sent home.

Children’s Produce Market & Backpack Program

We are excited to continue offering the Children’s Produce Market/Mobile Pantry and Backpack Program to our Fell families.

Our next distribution is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, with a tentative pickup time of 12:30–2:30 PM at the café doors. More details will be shared as we get closer to the date, and updates will also be sent through the Remind app.

Free Fall Carnival!

We are also excited to share information about a Free Fall Carnival coming up in our community! Please see the attached flyer for all of the details.

Clothing Swap — October 3

Finally, please see the attached flyer for information about a Clothing Swap on October 3 at a local Carbondale church. This is a great opportunity for families to exchange gently used clothing and find something new-to-you for the upcoming season.
