Please read the message below and the attached document.
The most important priority we have is the safety and security of all members of our school community. All faculty and staff at Fell remain committed to providing a safe environment for learning. As the school year begins, we have renewed our commitment to our safety protocols and have spent time reviewing them with our staff. We will be conducting emergency drills throughout the school year with students. We will continue to remain vigilant about all/any threats and will communicate with you any information that we obtain.
I urge all parents and families to monitor their child’s online activity and access to gaming platforms and other “virtual” meeting locations.

The Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center of the PA State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation, has issued the attached alert for the education sector, related to swatting, hoax email threats, and in-real-life violent plots. Since we have seen an uptick of these types of actions at postsecondary institutions over the past few days, we felt that it was important to get this information out to you quickly.
Please note that there are three additional attachments that can be viewed after you open the attached PDF file—those attachments have additional details and information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
We understand that this information and these types of activities are alarming to the entire school community. The following resources may be helpful as you address concerns:
