Dear Fell Families,
Can you believe that the summer is coming to an end and the next school year is upon us??
I know that I, for one, am very excited to welcome our students back on August 26th (31st for our Kindergartners!) We have a wonderful year of activities planned.
At last night’s board meeting, the new Student & Family Handbook was approved. There are some significant updates, so please take the time to review it. Classroom Teachers will send home and collect the acknowledgment pages for signature during the first weeks of school– Please do NOT print on your own.
Please note that traditional, fabric backpacks WILL be permitted for students this year, however, the clear, plastic Fell backpacks will still be provided to newly enrolled students (free of charge) and for anyone else who requests one.
Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
* Bus/ Van information will be coming from your district of residence. Please be patient with them– sometimes information is not available until the day before school starts.
Student drop-off is between 7:15 and 7:40 AM. Instruction begins promptly at 7:45 AM.
Dismissal will begin at 3:10 PM. Vans and the Carbondale Bus will load first, and car-riders will be dismissed afterward. Cars will need to line up BEHIND the cones in order to leave room for the bus to get through. It would be helpful for the first weeks of school, for car-riders to print their child’s last name on a piece of paper and display it in your windshield.
