As we approach November, I would like to make you aware of the following announcements and opportunities!

1) Thursday, 10/31 @ 9 AM- Halloween Parade; 11 AM Dismissal- Please see last week’s Warrior for detailed information about the parade.
2) The first quarter of the academic year ends on 10/31.  We begin the second quarter on 11/1.
3) Below is an opportunity for students who enjoy Chess or are interested in learning the game:

Nancy Kay Holmes Branch LibraryHow about a game of chess? While the Library renovates, join the NKH Chess Club on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the Technology Lab on the lower level of the Lackawanna County Children’s Library. Adults of all experience levels are welcome to come hone their skills and try out new strategies. To register, please call (570) 207-0764.
