Happy Tuesday!

I thought I’d share a few reminders about our Halloween parade and costumes for the 31st:

Our tentative plan for the 31st is: students in all grades may come to school dressed in a SCHOOL APPROPRIATE costume. Please remember that we have little 5 and 6 year old students and this is their FIRST time in school at Halloween; therefore gore and blood should not be a focus. No hair dyes.  No overly-large costumes that flow into another students’ space. No accessories like swords, or weapons.  Appropriate shoes are necessary.  We will not be asking for any food donations again this year.  Any foods will be provided by our school through the cafeteria.  If you are planning on attending, please stand along the sidewalk so that you can see the entire parade.  I also ask, for safety reasons, that guests outside,  not wear face coverings/masks; we would like to see all our guests. 

If the weather permits, we will start our parade at 9:00 a.m.  We come out the front door, go left and make 3 loops around the parking lot.  ALL visitors MUST park behind the orange cones.  Parking is, as you know very limited.   The entrance way/exit way to our driveway must remain open for emergency vehicles to get onto the property, if necessary.  I know that we don’t have enough room for everyoneto park so please plan ahead, carpooling is a great idea!

If the weather does not cooperate, we will hold our parade in our gym for just our school students and staff, but we will post the parade to our website.

Look for PSSP’s to be emailed to you this Thursday, the 5th and remember that we have an 11:00 dismissal this Friday the 6th and are closed on Monday the 9th.
