Happy Thursday…I thought I would wait until today to send out a few reminders about our Celebration of Life for Pat Shimowhich is happening tomorrow. 

Please take a few moments to read this email so that we are all on the same page. My goal is for our staff and students to be able to actively participate in this day therefore we have tried to pre-plan as much as possible, to eliminate any issues.

1.  There will be no parking in our school lot for this event.  ALL spots have been assigned and we are full.  Please do not arrive hoping for a spot.  Our “Parking Attendants” will have a list of assigned drivers and can only park those who are on the list.  

PLEASE do not park on Main St; we don’t want to annoy our neighbors nor do  we want anyone to receive a ticket. 

If you were planning on attending, you needed to have let me know, so that you would be reserved a seat on the school bus that is picking guests up at the corner of Lord St. and Frieder Pl. in Simpson (the baseball field; picture attached for those who have reserved a seat). The bus will be departing (and making only one run) at 12:10.

Please remember, and remind family members who are picking up students from school, tomorrow; please do not arrive before 2:50 pm.  We need to get our parking lot cleared BEFORE we allow vans/bus/drivers in for pick up.

2. I strongly recommend that students have sunscreen applied before they come to school tomorrow, that they wear/bring a hat for when we are outside for the wiffle ball game and I recommend sneakers for tomorrow.

3.  The students will be given t-shirts that they can wear tomorrow and then take them home to keep.
