Dear Fell Families,

We have a busy week ahead! Here are a few important reminders and updates for our Fell families.

Dress Code Reminder

As we head into the fall, please remember that clothing worn to school should not contain inappropriate, violent, or otherwise unsuitable graphics or messages.

If you have questions about whether a particular item is appropriate for school, please feel free to reach out to the office. Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and appropriate learning environment for all of our students.

Picture Day — Tomorrow, October 7!

Just a reminder that Picture Day is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7!

October 9 — 11:00 AM Dismissal

Friday, October 9 is a half day, and students will be dismissed at 11:00 AM.

Please remember that breakfast is not served on half days.

No School — Monday, October 12

Fell will be closed on Monday, October 12. Enjoy the long weekend!

Parent-Teacher Conferences — October 15– Students dismissed at 11AM (No Breakfast Served)

Don’t forget to book your appointment with your child’s teacher for Thursday, October 15. You should have received an email from your child’s teacher with a link to book your appointment.

PE and Music teachers will not have separate booking pages, but they will be available onsite during conferences for any parents who would like to speak with them.

If you would prefer a Google Meet or telephone conference with your child’s teacher at another time, please contact the teacher directly to make arrangements.

Title I Parent Meeting — October 15

Our annual Title I Parent Meeting will also take place on Thursday, October 15, during Parent-Teacher Conferences.

This will be a drop-in event in the cafeteria, where families can stop by to learn more about Fell Charter School’s Title I programming and how Title I supports our students.

October Fell Fridays

Our October Fell Friday themes are attached! We look forward to seeing our Warriors showing their school spirit throughout the month.

Don’t Forget to Order October Meals!

If your child will be purchasing school breakfast and/or lunch in October, please remember to log into EZSchool and place your orders.

If your child will be bringing a packed lunch from home, you do not need to order a school lunch for that day.

If you need help with EZSchool or have questions about meal ordering, please contact Mrs. Timlin at ctimlin@fellcharter.com.

Dental Services Coming to Fell — November 3

A school dentist will be visiting Fell on November 3, and all students are invited to participate.

This is a convenient opportunity to take care of your child’s dental health while also helping fulfill the dental exam requirement for students in Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 7th grade.

Most insurance plans are accepted, and some students may qualify for assistance. For more information and to register, please visit www.myschooldentist.com.

Please note: If your child has had a dental visit within six months prior to November 3, your insurance most likely will not cover this visit.

Middle School Fundraiser

Our Middle School students will be selling a limited supply of fundraising items during lunch throughout October to help fund upcoming field trips!

Items include:

• Ring Pops — 50¢ each
• Smencils — $1 each
• Book Buddy Slap Bracelets — $10 each

The Book Buddy Slap Bracelets are available in VERY limited quantities, and all items will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The first day of the sale is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7.
