Mind Matters: Kids Using AI for Mental Health Support

It’s happening. AI may be helpful, but has serious risks and limitations.

  • Never use personal info (name, address, school, etc.)
  • Can give wrong answers
  • Question AI advice.
  • Big feelings/problems – talk to a real person
  • Check in with your child about how they use AI

Spending too much time with AI instead of real people is a red flag.
