Health Reminder:
Prevent the Spread of Infection:
- Teach children to wash hands often with soap and warm water, especially before eating and after coughing or sneezing.
- Encourage them to cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow.
- Keep your child home if they have a fever, vomiting, or contagious illness.
- Together, we can reduce the spread of germs and keep our classrooms healthy!
Mind Matters
You Are More Than What You Achieve
This month, remind your child (and yourself!) that who we are matters more than what we achieve.
For parents: I recommend the book Never Enough: When Achievement Culture Becomes Toxic—and What We Can Do About It by Jennifer Breheny Wallace. It’s a thoughtful guide on how to support children’s well-being in a world focused on achievement.
